The first Arabic letters, taught so they stay.

The Qaida is where every fluent reader starts. We teach it one-on-one in short, playful lessons, so your child learns each letter from its correct point in the mouth before any word is joined. The first year should build love, not pressure.

What this course actually gets youMost children who start at the alphabet are reading joined words within five months.

Say all 29 letters correctly

Each one from its own makhraj, including the letters that look alike on the page and sound alike to an untrained ear.

Read joined words unaided

Harakat, sukoon, shaddah and madd, met one at a time and practised in real words, not drills.

Open the Mushaf without fear

By the end of the Qaida your child can sound out a line of the Quran on their own and know they got it right.

What the road looks like

From your first class to fluent.

Real milestones from students on this course, not a marketing timeline. Your teacher gives you a specific estimate after the free level check.

  1. Week 1 The first meeting No textbook on day one. The teacher learns your child's name, their level and what makes them laugh, then starts with the first four letters.
  2. Week 4 The first 14 letters Each from its correct makhraj, recognised in isolation and at the start of a word.
  3. Week 10 All 29, joined Letters in all their forms, beginning, middle and end, and the first short words read without help.
  4. Month 4 Harakat and sukoon Fatha, kasra, damma, tanween and sukoon applied to real Quranic words, not invented ones.
  5. Month 5 Their first ayah Most children read their first full ayah from the Mushaf here. Parents get the recording.

This course is for you if…

  • Your child is 4 to 9 and has never formally learned Arabic letters
  • They have tried a weekend class or an app and it did not stick
  • They know some letters but guess at the ones that look similar
  • You want them to start right rather than be corrected later
Maybe not this one

If your child already reads joined words from the Mushaf, start with Quran reading with tajweed instead — the trial teacher will tell you honestly in the first ten minutes.

Questions about noorani qaida for kids.

Is my 4-year-old too young for Noorani Qaida?

Four is the earliest we start, and only with 30-minute classes twice a week. At that age we spend the first weeks on sounds and recognition games rather than the book. If your child cannot yet sit for 15 minutes, the trial teacher will tell you honestly and suggest waiting a few months rather than taking your money.

How long does the Noorani Qaida take to finish?

Most children finish in 4 to 6 months on 8 to 12 classes a month. Children who start at 7 or older often move faster, in 3 to 4 months. The teacher gives you a realistic estimate after the free level check, not a sales number.

Do you use the physical Qaida book?

Yes, and we send you the exact PDF we teach from so you can follow along or print it. There is nothing extra to buy. Materials are included in every plan.
